ED SHEERAN
Hello everyone! If you follow me on Twitter you will know that I have been raving about Ed Sheeran's new music, not just me but probably the whole world. For those of you that don't know who Ed Sheeran is, he is a English singer/songwriter, he's know for his unique sound with the help of his guitar and the loop pedal. His music relates a lot with the sound you hear from the band Passengers, folk and acoustic but still adding pop. One of his most played songs you may know is Thinking Out Loud.
Around 2013 I had heard one of his songs probably on youtube but I hadn't payed attention to who was playing I just kept dancing around while I was cleaning my room. I tried looking for that same song for a long time but since I had no idea what I was looking for I didn't really have much to go on and searching google the rhythm of what I heard wasn't really going to help me. It wasn't until I heard Give Me Love in 2014 when I recognized his voice. Ever since then I have been a major fan!
I immediately went crazy! I had just found that same voice that was just 6 seconds long inside my head for nearly a year and I could finally put a name and face to that memory. I went to his youtube channel and finally ended up finding that exact song I had been looking for! Till this day I still consider it to be my favorite song of his. Ed Sheeran - Small Bump (Acoustic Boat Session)
One of my friends even gave me the Album MULTIPLY for my birthday, one of the best gift's ever by the way! My favorite song from the album is Afire Love.
After one entire year on a break traveling, taking time off social media and going to parties the King is back! We've seen that his albums have a pattern, we have Plus, Multiply and now Divide they all follow by a solid color orange, green and now blue.
I saw on twitter that Ed was going to be on BBC Radio 1 at 5:30 AM, UK time. He was going to be interviewed, answer some questions and SING HIS NEW SONG! Here in Brazil that would be around 2:30 AM, I was willing to stay up and listen the only problem is that I couldn't get signal. I think it might be because I'm not in the UK region or something like that. What's left now is to just wait until it's been uploaded on youtube. The first thing I do is jump on youtube and listen to BOTH the new songs he has released. From what he said in his BBC Radio 1 interview his album is very variety that fits right in with the title. Listening to both songs there is a difference with the style they have pretty much nailed his intention. If you wont to see some of the best moments of his interview click here.
My favorite out of the two is Castle on the Hill.
The other song is Shape of You.
From what I've heard in the past with all his music and some covers I was very anxious to see what he was going to do next. Although he has only released two songs so far I already think the other songs are going to be just as good as the last one's.
That's all for now, thank's for stopping by. See ya' next time!
