Route 66

Hello people of the internet! The other day as I was walking in town with my mom we saw a bunch of guys on there Harley Davidson Bikes pass by us, they looked as cool as the guys in the movies. We ended up talking about biker gangs and while one thing lead to another we started to talk about Route 66.

Not only is Route 66 one of the most popular highways in America, there are movie's about it and TV show's that take place there such as Cars, although the town Radiator Springs does not exist, there are many references to the highway. There was recently a new teaser released byPixar for the film Cars 3, that brings a lot of worrying to fans such as myself to know what is going to happen to McQueen's future.

Not only has there been many movie's/TV show's that take place in or about 66 there are a bunch of song's that have been written about thinking of route 66 such as;

Born To Be Wild-Steppenwolf

From what I can understand from the lyrics and beat from the song is that it's all about having an adventure at the spear of the moment and just living.

Six Days on the Road-Dave Dudley

I suppose this song was written mostly about truckers, since the highways was built to create a path for those who would crossing the country east to west.

Rocking Down The Highway - Doobie Brothers

And of course Route 66 written bye Bobby Trump the song lyrics were written listing the states the highway passes through. Written within only 10 days, while on route 66. ( I couldn't find the original song so here's a cover from John Mayer)

I've heard a ton of thing's about route 66, all the attractions there are to see, the famous Ghost Town everyone goes to, the TeePee motel that look's a lot like the cozy cone motel in the move Cars.

I really like the idea of cross-county from what I've heard Route 66 is the best way to go! That's all I have for today! Thank's for reading! Bye!
