Freddie Mercury

As most of you all know and can probable tell I listen to a lot of Pop music I'm pretty sure that I've spoken a lot about Pop and the fact that the artist from today's day and age are what are mostly in my playlist's but what you didn't know is that I have my rocker side too. My Aunt is a HUGE fan of the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Steve Wonder, Michael Jackson and more the list is endless, she was always around when I was little and because of her love for the classic's we would always listen to them on the radio and on tapes (yes, I still lived the years with cassette tapes) and I ended up enjoying it!

On wednesday I had been listening to the sound track of Happy Feet 2 and was on a constant repeat between the Opening Medley and Under Pressure there my favorite through out the entire movie and coincidently thursday the 24th of November was the 25th year that Freddie had passed and in memorial of his legacy left here I could not forget to acknowledge him and all he has done.

Opening Melody

Under Pressure

As most people know he was the lead vocal for the british 70's band Queen. They started there carrier mostly with Rock and then lead on to Pop Rock. The band is still together there newest lead vocalist is Adam Lambert and he's done an amazing job presenting with the band from the past few show's they've done. They wore at Rock in Rio last year here in Brazil . Check it out.

He's music is EVERY where, there are soooo many cover's and different version's of his song's that is nearly impossible to say you've never heard of his music or of him. I mean there are tons of meme's out there, for example

He was a star like no other, I mean how can we ever forget the most iconic moment of his show when he just started to improv in the ending ceremony of the 1986 London Olympics Games while the crowd repeat after him?

There are some songs that will just never die, they've just become a constant sound track to certain moment's through out our lives. Like if your ever feeling #ForeverAlone vibe's you can always sing to Somebody to Love.

When ever I win a game or even a fight with anyone about any thing I'll always have We Are The Champions on the tip of my tongue ready to burst out.

Feeling trapped in a situation or you just want to get a laugh out of your friends than do as I do and bust out the classic I Want To Break Free. Or if you ever feel like you need to put something out there then this songs a perfect match.

He was and forever be a legend and inspiration for many future artist I know he's one to me. May he Rest In Peace.
