Riff-Off

I'm pretty sure we have all heard of a riff-off before, I mean how hasn't? If you have no idea what I'm talking about let me explain. A Riff-Off is kinda like a battle through music, I know it seems pretty lame and boring but it's actually really cool. It's most often done with singing groups sometimes even people doing solo.

I wish I had the voice to sing and do the really amazing high notes, came back with the really low one's as well but then again I was not gifted with the ability to sing. I'm going to work hard on my singing if I ever want to take that dream to the next level for now I'm doing pretty fine with my pitchy voice singing to I will always love you by Whitney Houston with my friends in the car,

Speaking about pitchy and riff-off's I'm sure you've heard of Pith Perfect if you haven't and enjoy a good singing type of song/musical movie like me then I totally recommend you stop reading this or get to the end and watch 1 and 2! Without any spoilers, there is a scene in the film where they have there on riff-off for the new coming talents that have just joined the acapella groups. Here's the clip from the film

To be honest with you guys my favorite part of the entire film, I'm just a real sucker for these types of movies. Pitch Perfect 2 did the riff-off as well and it was just as great as the first one some would say it's even better.

But of course I couldn't talk about riff-off's with out even mentioning James Corden. James has already been mention here on my blog post about Carpool Karaoke (click here). He has his own part in the Late Late Show where he has his own kind've riff-off's with certain guests that appear on the show such as Anna Kendrick that starred in Pitch Perfect as you have seen in both the videos above.

He has also done one recently with Shawn Mendes and that ended up turning a pretty cool turn into his new album Mercy that came out a couple of weeks ago.
