Boy Bands
Hey Guy! What's up? I was going through Twitter the other day and saw that a lot of people where going absolutely crazy over Nial Horan's new song "This Town", I couldn't hep but feel a certain nostalgia when One Direction was a none stop repeat ever where you went. I've never been a BIG fan of 1D but I did listen to there songs some times. If you know what I'm like you probably already know I was sucked down an endless hole of One Direction playlists on Youtube. What can I say there last CD was pretty awesome.
Can you believe how long it's been ever since Zayn went off to be Solo, Louis became a FATHER, Harry's of in the making of a film, Liam said he was leaving and now Nial just became solo.
I started thinking about how there aren't that many Boy Bands out there any more, well there still are The Vamps but then again you never know what might happen...
We have the boys from NSYNC that where one of the biggest hists in 1995 I wasn't even born and I know nearly all the lyrics of Bye Bye Bye. They wore HUGE! In 2007 they had officially announced that the band broke up. At least Justin Timberake is still in the music industry.
Any body remember The Backstreet Boys? I sure do, well kinda. They were launched in 1996 I wasn't even born then but I still remember dancing to I want it that way. Can you believe there still together!!!!! Last year they even joined in with Pepsi to do a concert here in Brazil. I saw it all through Snapchat Story's of famous people, I didn't get to go but I still got my hopes up high that one day I will!
Stepping in the 2000's we have The Jonas Brothers. I remember going to Traget and seeing backpacks, barbies, pencil's, eraser's every thing you can imagine stamped with there faces. You'd turn on Disney there they were with Hanna Montana, Zack and Cody, they even had there own show back in the day where they trying to live a "normal" life. My favorite song was S.O.S. It's a shame they broke up in 2013.
Does Big Time Rush ring a bell? They started on Nickelodeon and in the begging I didn't like them but after a while they grow on me kinda like Taylor Swift. I'll never forget the episode Jordin Sparks was on the show! The song Counting on you was by far there best song, in my opinion at least.
So many things have changed, it's weird growing up listening and dancing to these boy bands and all of a sudden hear that they are broken up and that they may or may not be planning on a reunion. Change isn't fun. Bring back the old days!
I do't know about you but I still listen to these bands as if they never ended, what about you? Who's with me on this? Leave a comment! That's all for today, see ya' next week! Bye!
