The Cursed Child

So as many of you all may already know J.K Rowling the author of Harry Potter released a new book, of the series. Named Harry Potter and The Cursed Child.

The story takes place at the end of the last book and then is thrown nineteen years into the future where Harry's son Albus has to deal with his fathers past. As they both struggle to understand the "uncomfortable truth; darkness comes from unexpected places". I have only read a couple of pages from the book not because I'm lazy trust me, but because I waiting for my mom to ask what I wont for christmas.

What I can say is that I have been a Potterhead ever since the first time I saw the movie way back when. I remember feeling sad to watch and hear about the end of the series, I mean how wasn't?! After hearing about the announcement of the new book in August I was freaking out! But it wasn't un till I recently saw Alfie Deyes Vlog on Youtube. He had been invited by the one and only J.K. Rowling to go and watch the play! For those of you that don't know the cursed child was written by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, but is actually a two part play by Jack Thorne. That received a world premiere July 30, 2016 in the London's West End. During Alfie's vlog he said it was one of the best things he had ever seen in his life! A ton of other Youtubers said the same thing "It's one of the best piece of entertainment I've ever seen in my life." said one of them in the background. I couldn't help but feel excited and daydreaming about the day my Hogwarts letter would be in the mail.

I wonder if the play does well, will it became a movie? For now you can only see the play in London but I've always dreamed of going to the Big Bean any ways so now I've got another excuse to go! ever since I've heard about the news I've been none stop Harry Potter marathon at home when I came back from school!
